To prepare Sports Performers and Teams at all levels to maximize their athletic performance requires key areas of training, physical, mental and skill conditioning and development. This is to ensure that the execution of the specific skills, as simple as jogging or as complex as control a ball from the air, move it to space and pass 30 metres to a teammate on the run can occur consistently with efficiency, precision, speed and without fear of injury. A well rounded performer requires athleticism regardless of standard or age and a vocabulary of fundamental movement skills.

Physfun  creates tailor made solutions that are ability matched, varied , sport specific, challenging at the appropriate level, fun to perform and that bring about success in the best time possible. Also programmes to aid rehabilitation and recovery can be adapted to ensure a confident return to competition.

 

 What we do

Physfun assesses the performers strengths and movement weaknesses and imbalances. Designs training options to suit so as to improve functional movement, strength , speed power or endurance. The programme will be appropriate to age, weight, sex, health and current fitness levels and if relevant sport specific. Team programmes will be designed in close cooperation with club coaches and trainers and sustainability ensured through in-house training.

Apprentice Athlete

Maximizing performance requires the body and brain to be functioning safely and efficiently. Using a screening methodology is a good way of observing movement imbalances in a performer.
